Welcome New Tiger Parents, My name is David Haney and I am the Cubmaster for Pack 153 in North Ridgeville. On behalf of the entire Pack 153 family let me welcome all the new families to the pack. We are excited to have you with us. Although there will be good leadership in your new den, it is crucial that all the parents assist in providing a quality program for the boys. DUES The cost of dues for the year is $50 payable to Cub Scout Pack 153. $10 of this goes to the Boy Scouts of America for registration and $40 goes to the pack for dues to cover awards, programs, outings, den activities, etc. This also covers insurance for the boy’s while they are involved in scouting activities. We collect dues from the Pack in August so you will not have to worry about payment until then. UNIFORMS We will be piloting a program this year on the purchasing of uniforms. There were a lot of frustrations from the parents last year on what was needed for the uniform so to make it easier the pack will be purchasing the uniforms and patches that the boys will need and supplying that to you at cost. The leaders will be contacting you to get sizes and provide a price list. If you would like to purchase on your own please contact me and I will let you know what you will need. We will be doing this soon so you are not hit with uniform cost and dues at the same time. TIGER TRAINERS There are many questions when you begin scouting, so we are trying a program this year to assist in the transition of the boys and parents to scouting. Below you will find some email address's of parents who were Tigers parents last year. We want you to be able to contact them in case you have questions about anything.
