What is the Fella's Cake Bake?
The Cake Bake is a Cub Scout tradition that goes back many years. It is held annually by Pack 153. Each boy, with help from dad or another male, is asked to bake and decorate a cake that will be auctioned off at the pack meeting. Funds raised support Pack 153 activities.

Cake Bake Rules
1. This is a Cub project. Trust us, the Cubs don’t care about creating the most beautiful cake. The fun is in baking and decorating, so let them take the lead on this. If dad, a brother or other male in the household isn’t able to assist, mom, grandma or a sister can step in. The idea is to make this a fun experience for the family.

2. Any cake theme is welcome.

3. No store-bought cakes. You must bake the cake, but cake mixes are fine.

Bring your checkbooks!

Helpful Tips

• Bring your cake on a piece of board or sturdy cardboard with aluminum foil wrapped around it. This avoids having to return any tupperware items after your cake has been auctioned off.

• Looking for a great theme cake? Google “theme cakes for kids” and you’ll find plenty of ideas.
